I don’t know the proper terminology, but I really like how you “grey scale textured” the tomb entrance in the last panels.

I started from page one and read this comic all the way to the most recent page and let me just say: I love it! It has had me laughing (a lot) and I adore all the references you’ve put into it! The illustrations are gorgeous and the expressions are wonderful – keep it up!

“Greyscaling” is totally the right term- usually it’s done using Photoshop or what have you, but in the last two panels it’s actually just marker. I am old school. Mostly because I don’t know how to render or make textures and the such with the computer, and when I try to teach myself it usually devolves to “it’ll be faster if I just use a pen!”

Someday I’ll learn…
